ozymandias (2016) for accordion and gagaku tuned shō

ozymandias (2016) is the first of two pieces for japanese instruments inspired by the percy shelley poem, ozymandias. it is scored for accordion and shō tuned at A=430 (the type used for performing gagaku).

it was premiered on July 28, 2017 at the Tenri Cultural Institute in NYC by Zak Hap Seligman and Robert Young MacMahon.
